The following schedule is representative of our morning schedule for preschool offerings. Each age group has a schedule of developmentally appropriate activities designed for that classroom and the schedule is individualized as needed.
Sample Daily PROGRAM
6:00 to 7:45 a.m. Arrival, independent activities, breakfast
7:45 to 8:00 a.m. Breakfast ends, clean up. All children sent to
individual classrooms.
8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Independent play, continued arrival of students,
preparing for preschool.
9:00 to 11:30 a.m. Developmentally appropriate pre-school
program. Includes small and large group
activities, moving from the various
stations; dramatic play, science, table toys,
outdoor activities, and teacher/child
initiated activities and morning snack.
11:30 to 12:00 p.m. Clean up from Pre-school, prepare for lunch,
washing hands and face.
12:00 to 12:45 p.m. Lunch. A time where students can informally
socialize with teachers and peers. Clean- up from lunch and washing hands and face.
12:45 to 1:00 p.m. Preparing for rest-time. Soft music, story
telling, back patting.
1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Rest-time. Approximate time. Not all children
rest for two hours. Some take a while to
fall asleep, while others wake up early.
Teacher preparation time.
3:00 to 3:30 p.m. Bathroom duties and afternoon snack.
3:30 to 6:00 p.m. Afternoon activities. Indoor and outdoor play.
Departure of children from the center.
